Our on-air product is lifestyle focused towards adults seeking a variety of great songs, good living and quality life experiences. In addition to great music; we present accurate local, national and global news as well as all the latest sport, local traffic news and weather conditions across our footprint. A heritage station in the market, Algoa FM has been on air since 1 January 1986.
Predominantly a music station, we include many talk elements as we immerse ourselves in the issues that affect our audience fairly, accurately and within context. Relevant content and lifestyle features are based on our target market’s interests as well as preferences. Our online and social media platforms are used to actively engage with our audience. We create, capture and visualise our content through graphics, photographs and video elements where applicable. We also play a valuable role in shaping civil society towards a mindset of nation building and whilst we take this very seriously, we also love having fun with all our stakeholders while investing in our community.
